Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at getaifromscratch.com (the "Site") and the training, consultancy and related services provided by AI From Scratch ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About us
AI From Scratch is a practical AI training and consultancy business founded by Liam Hoofe and Chris Dance. You can reach us at hello@getaifromscratch.com.
2. Use of the Site
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your own personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to:
- use the Site in any unlawful way or for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Site or its underlying systems;
- copy, scrape, republish or redistribute Site content except as expressly permitted;
- introduce any malware or otherwise compromise the security of the Site.
3. Our services
We provide AI training, consultancy and bespoke solutions. Service descriptions, formats and prices shown on the Site are for general information and may change. Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer; engagements are agreed separately following an enquiry or discovery conversation.
4. Bookings, fees and payment
Prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and, unless stated otherwise, are exclusive of VAT. The fees, scope, format and any cancellation or rescheduling terms applicable to a specific engagement will be confirmed in writing before it begins. Those engagement terms sit alongside these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and all training materials, curricula, prompt libraries and other content we produce are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Where we provide materials as part of a programme, you receive a non-transferable licence to use them for your own internal purposes. You may not resell, redistribute or publish them without our written permission.
6. Your content and submissions
When you contact us or submit information through the Site, you confirm the information is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Please do not submit confidential, sensitive or personal data through the contact form that you would not want sent by email. You grant us permission to use the information you provide in order to respond to your enquiry and deliver any services you request.
7. Third-party tools and AI outputs
Our training references third-party AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot). We are independent and vendor-neutral, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers; their own terms and policies apply to your use of their tools. AI tools can produce inaccurate or incomplete outputs — you are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it.
8. No guaranteed outcomes
Our services are educational and advisory in nature. While we work hard to deliver practical, useful training, we do not guarantee any specific result, performance improvement or business outcome. Nothing we provide constitutes legal, financial or other professional advice.
9. Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site and its content, including as to accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Privacy and cookies
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies is described in our Cookie Notice.
12. Links to other websites
The Site may link to third-party websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of those sites, and linking does not imply endorsement.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
15. Contact
